Disrupting industry norms to help lawyers and leaders establish fulfilling careers and workplaces without burning out or compromising their values.

Serving organizational clients including:

“What I thought would just be a way to relieve work stress turned into bettering my entire life.”

— Morgan Small, Attorney

Let’s talk about what’s really going on…

Having supported thousands of lawyers, law students, and ambitious professionals in demanding industries over the last decade, I’ve noticed serious voids in support…

After you get that first job out of school, who’s helping you SUCCEED and MAINTAIN your success? Placing smart, ambitious people in positions where they don’t know exactly what they’re doing often sets us up for raging imposter syndrome, crippling perfectionism, comparisonitis, difficulty setting boundaries, and prioritizing work at the expense of everything else.

Then, as you advance in your career and pursue leadership roles, the concerns often intensify. Mid-career, you might find yourself…

  • Questioning, “Is this what I really want to be doing for the rest of my career?”

  • Feeling unfulfilled, disengaged, or less enthusiastic about your day-to-day work than you felt early on.

  • Out of balance—not spending your time doing what you want to do most, resenting your work, and approaching burnout.

  • Or supervising others / bringing in business, without the training or guidance you need on everything that matters most: emotional intelligence, relationship building, communication, empowering others, and serious goal setting, planning, and accountability.

THAT’S WHERE CAREER LEADERSHIP COACHING COMES IN.

It’s time to determine:

(1) WHAT you want for your career and life

(2) HOW to get it while successfully managing everything on your plate so you can maximize your potential

And it all boils down to energy-based leadership.

I utilize the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching’s (iPEC) one-of-a-kind Energy Leadership and COR.E Leadership Dynamics concepts and curricula uniquely designed to help you maximize performance, influence and overall success.

Career leadership coaching is NOT for everyone. Like if…

  • You’re looking for someone to tell you what exactly to do with your career.

I don’t tell my clients what to do; instead, I’ll be guiding you through an intentional process to help you uncover those answers on your own. Why? You are the expert in your life, and I believe intuitively you know what’s best; I’m the expert in the coaching process. I will help you explore what you want for your career based on what matters most to you and how you can go after your vision. I will help you pinpoint the stress points getting in your way. And I will teach you tools designed to help you reduce your stress and shift your energy for increased productivity, motivation, and follow-through. * Where appropriate, I may share feedback, insights, and new possibilities, while reminding you that you are always at choice.

  • You are looking to substitute coaching for mental health services.

I am not a licensed mental health service provider. I am a certified professional coach with a background in career development and law. What’s the difference? Traditional psychotherapy is a healing modality, addressing clinical mental health conditions to help you get by in life by exploring why you are the way you are. Coaching, on the other hand, is an empowerment modality, helping you move from “just getting by” to thriving by exploring who you are today, who you want to be in the future, and how to get you there. We’ll focus on your strengths and career possibilities, strategize how to achieve your goals, then motivate you to ensure follow-through. I do not treat clinical mental health conditions, focus much on the past, or purport to heal my clients. Instead, we are shifting your energy level to increase productivity, optimism, and creativity. *That being said, coaching and therapy can work nicely in conjunction with one another; many of my clients also work with a therapist.
